Tom Quintero, PE

Tom’s early career focused on the structural design of residential structures and the seismic rehabilitation of historic structures in the Pacific Northwest. Following that time, he developed over ten years of design experience in the Central Texas Area ranging from commercial, residential, hospitality, tenant improvements, and adaptive reuse structures. In addition to his design experiences, he’s also performed numerous forensic evaluations of structures relating to foundation movement, vehicle and tree strikes, and distress related to hurricane and tornado events. It was through his forensic experiences that he became licensed in multiple states along the Gulf and East Coasts. Tom enjoys mentoring young engineers and university students – challenging them to think outside the box and come up with solutions beyond a textbook.

In his free time, he loves to travel and explore the food and drink scenes of multiple cities across Texas, the West Coast, and beyond.
